The Chelsea 288GMFJW-M8RY or 288GMFJWM8RY is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 288 Series. Built on the 281 Series platform, the 288 Series delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the effects of engine vibration while improving clamp load. The standard output shaft includes a positive stop feature that prevents oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Optional Wet Spline lubrication can extend pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times compared to a dry spline arrangement.
