The Chelsea 340 Series Power Take-Off, part number 340SKITX-G5XD or 340SKITXG5XD, is a reversible 6-bolt PTO designed for vocational truck applications requiring both forward and reverse rotation. It mounts to most manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, ZF, GM, Hino, and other manufacturers. The mechanical lever shift operates a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key, rated for intermittent torque up to 200 lb-ft (271 Nm). Shaft power output is 19 HP at 500 RPM and 38 HP at 1000 RPM. The cast iron housing encloses a heavy-duty ball bearing output, and a removable cover plate allows backlash adjustment in the field. Common applications include oil field and logging equipment.
