The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GAAHX-A3XD or 489GAAHXA3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft. Internal components are common to Chelsea's 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies field service.
