The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) in the 489 Series. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
