The Chelsea 489GAAHX-P3XD or 489GAAHXP3XD is an 8-bolt PTO assembly from the 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some installations, reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key is pressure-lubricated (P = Pressure Lube per the model code). The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
