Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GCAHX-V3GA or 489GCAHXV3GA, is an 8-bolt direct-mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate used on other designs, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as Chelsea's 442 Series, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
