The Chelsea 489GCITX-V3RB or 489GCITXV3RB is a 489 Series power take-off assembly engineered for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and removing a potential leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shift is via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
