The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 489GFAHX-P3AF or 489GFAHXP3AF, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate needed on some PTO installations, removing a potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) is pressure-lubricated on this configuration. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
