The Chelsea 489GFAHX-X3RB or 489GFAHXX3RB is an 8-bolt PTO assembly from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed for Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack transmissions, as well as other compatible applications. It uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque with output power in the 46-55 HP range. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round (with key) configuration. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts sourcing and service. The kit-style design makes field service straightforward, and greaseable output options are available.
