The Chelsea 489GHAHX-A3GB or 489GHAHXA3GB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with output power of 46-55 HP. The 1-1/4" round output shaft supports a keyed configuration, and the 489 Series features strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity.
