The Chelsea 489GHITX-A3GB or 489GHITXA3GB is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from Parker Chelsea's 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers output power in the 46-55 HP (31-40 kW) range. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a keyed configuration, and shaft power is rated at 24 HP (500 RPM) and 48 HP (1,000 RPM).
