The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
