The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHAHX-V3XY or 489GHAHXV3XY, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with a series-characteristic rating of 250 lb-ft - check application pages for actual torque ratings specific to your installation. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
