The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLITX-V5XK or 489GLITXV5XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shift is handled via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
