The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GQAHX-A3RK or 489GQAHXA3RK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an 8-bolt one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the transmission opening on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The integral housing eliminates the adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Output is rated at 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check application pages for actual torque ratings at your specific installation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key option) and 8-bolt mounting are standard across this series. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
