The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, with the 489 Series rated at 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) intermittent. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
