The Chelsea 489GQITX-A3XD or 489GQITXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others with an 8-bolt PTO opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, and shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings handle radial loads where needle-bearing designs fall short.
