The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GQITX-A3XK or 489GQITXA3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
