The Chelsea 489GQITX-W3XD or 489GQITXW3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing one potential leak path compared to adapter-style designs. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with keyway. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM, with intermittent torque capacity in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, which simplifies parts stocking. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for improved load capacity.
