The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
