The Chelsea 489GRITX-A3XY or 489GRITXA3XY is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Shaft power output is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
