The Chelsea 489GSAHX-A3RA or 489GSAHXA3RA is a Series 489 power take-off assembly designed for Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism, with an electric-over-air shift option also available. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft (keyed version available), rated at 46-55 HP output power, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque rating falls in the 201-300 lb-ft range; check Chelsea application pages for the precise torque figure for your installation.
