The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GSAHX-P3GH or 489GSAHXP3GH, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an integral 8-bolt one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to the transmission opening on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The 8-bolt housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key, and lubrication is pressure-type (P designation). The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
