The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GSITX-V5XK or 489GSITXV5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built around a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. It delivers intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration, and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
