The one-piece cast-iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to designs that require a separate adapter. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key option. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
