The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XAAHX-W5XD or 489XAAHXW5XD, is an 8-bolt PTO built for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
