The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XAAHX-A5XD or 489XAAHXA5XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. This PTO delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with series-rated intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series fits most manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
