The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XAAHX-V5XQ or 489XAAHXV5XQ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key option), and shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. An electric-over-air shift option is available within the series.
