The Chelsea 489XCAHP-W5LC or 489XCAHPW5LC is a 489 Series power take-off for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
