The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHP-A3XD or 489XCAHPA3XD, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO engineered for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The round output shaft takes a 1-1/4-inch key.
