The Chelsea 489XCAHX-A3RA or 489XCAHXA3RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. Shift is air shift. The rotatable SAE B 2-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft is driven by tapered bearings for improved load capacity over needle-bearing designs. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
