The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCARX-M3XQ or 489XCARXM3XQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts on without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft on an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange, rotated 90 degrees. Constant mesh (no shifter) is standard on this unit.
