The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A3XG or 489XFAHXA3XG, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Tapered bearings provide greater load-bearing capability than needle bearings. This PTO is sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
