The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-A3XG or 489XSAHXA3XG, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output rated at 46-55 HP. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this configuration. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
