The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-W3XY or 489XFAHXW3XY, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) for intermittent duty. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 489 Series features tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity, and internal parts are common to the 442 Series. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit.
