The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-A3GA or 489XHAHXA3GA, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path that separate-housing designs carry. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); for continuous-duty applications, derate 30% per Chelsea application data. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP (500 RPM) and 48 HP (1,000 RPM).
