The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A3GQ or 489XHAHXA3GQ, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly with a wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions, eliminating the adapter plate used on earlier designs and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
