The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path compared to bolted-adapter designs. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series.
