The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-A3SQ or 489XHAHXA3SQ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to bolt directly to manual transmission openings from Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and cutting mounting time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); the same torque rating as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power delivery is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an output power range of 46-55 HP (31-40 kW).
