The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-A3SQ or 489XLAHXA3SQ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for a separate adapter and reduces potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and the same torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of pump configurations.
