The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-V3GF or 489XHAHXV3GF, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), and puts out 46-55 HP (31-40 kW). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Fits most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec.
