The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A5XK or 489XHITXA5XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. The one-piece cast-iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) for intermittent duty. Output power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without a key. Internal components are shared with the 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies field servicing. Fits utility trucks, dump trucks, aerial equipment, and snow and ice removal applications.
