The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-V3GZ or 489XLAHXV3GZ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque rating for this series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the capacity of the 442 Series. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The wire/cable mechanical shift type is standard on this unit, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in this series. Shaft power reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
