The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-V5GF or 489XLAHXV5GF, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating. The greaseable SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange output with a 1" 15-tooth SAE BB shaft is driven by tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity.
