The Chelsea 489XQAHX-V3AZ or 489XQAHXV3AZ is a Series 489 power take-off assembly designed for Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack transmissions, as well as select other applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and uses wire/cable mechanical shift. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (keyway option available) delivers up to 46-55 HP output power, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity is rated in the 201-300 lb-ft range; verify actual torque ratings on Chelsea application pages for your specific installation. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, making bench service straightforward. An electric-over-air shift option is also available.
