The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQITX-A5RB or 489XQITXA5RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some competitive designs, removing a potential leak path while delivering the same intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key option), rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for stronger radial load handling. Kit-style construction simplifies field service, and internal parts share commonality with the 442 Series.
