The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 lb-ft / 339 Nm), and tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power rates at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
