The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRAHX-W4XD or 489XRAHXW4XD, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to bolt directly to compatible manual transmission openings from Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts sourcing and service.
