The Chelsea 489XREVX-A4SQ or 489XREVXA4SQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key option) is supported by tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
