The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XREVX-W5XR or 489XREVXW5XR, is an 8-bolt mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key, and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
